Yousriya Loza-Sawiris Scholarship 2024 | Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Yousriya Loza-Sawiris Scholarship 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a reputable academic institution in a related field of study.
  2. Demonstrate a minimum of two years of work experience in the field of development.
  3. Meet the entry requirements for the academic MDP program.
  4. Showcase an outstanding professional and academic track record.
  5. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, as well as merit and character demonstrated through academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and social behavior.

While no specific academic track is mandatory, students with a strong liberal arts education background and sound quantitative and analytical skills will be well-prepared for academic success at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.

Applicants should be Egyptian nationals residing in Egypt (preference will not be given to dual nationality holders). Previous coursework in mathematics, statistics, and economics is recommended. Additionally, English language proficiency is required, and valid TOEFL or IELTS scores are necessary. The exam date should be within two years of the graduate program’s start, and the minimum required scores are 100 (TOEFL internet-based, minimum 22 on each section) or 7 (IELTS, minimum 7 on each section).
